Wow!

Congratulations to Andrea Banks  for completing the Salt Lake City Marathon on April 16, 2011!  Andrea completed the marathon in 4:50:32.  I am so jealous of your new legs, Andrea, and am so impressed and excited by your many accomplishments.  Check out her story here

  1. Thanks Kris! You know I FIRMLY believe that it was weight watchers that made this possible. I would have never attempted a marathon in my pre-WW days. How is WW like a Marathon? 1- All good things come to those who wait. If you put in the work ANYTHING is possible, it just might not be on a time frame you like. 2- Listening to your body becomes so much easier if you know what you are listening FOR. Some foods taste great but are damaging to your pace when running. Anyone want to guess which ones hurt? I will give you a hint - think high point values. 3- While losing the weight I gained a better mindset and I realized, 'I matter.' My higher confidence level made me conclude, 'I can do more than what I ever thought was possible.' There are more examples if you want them, but know with Weight Watchers you don't only learn how to lose weight. You gain so much more. Thank you again Kris and ALL of my WW family! I couldn't have done it without you!!!
